This site is, and will always be, 100% free for you.
No paywalls. No ads. No pop ups. No 'exit intent' banners that show up when you try to close the browser window.
Because ads are annoying and dumb. We don't like them and we don't want to waste your time with them.
That being said, creating fresh 3000+ word articles on a bi-weekly(ish) basis takes a lot of work. It's work we love, please understand. But it's a time-intensive labor of love. There are also financial costs associated with hosting and operating a website. And in a fun bit of irony, the more popular the website becomes, the more expensive it is to maintain it.
That's why we need your help...
Emails from our readers brighten our day. And reader donations keep us full of coffee (which, in turn, keeps content flowing out of us).
Every donation, no matter the size, puts more coffee into our bloodstream. This fuels our late night (Sam) and early morning (Brandon) writing binges that make words appear on the tl;dr website.
A quick note: If you sign up for monthly donations (thank you!), you will have to create an account with our sales provider (Gumroad). This allows you to change your payment info or cancel altogether if you ever need to. Gumroad will basically never email you unless they have to for account maintenance reasons.
-You can give us as much (or as little) coffee as you'd like
-It's like buying Brandon and Sam each a half cup of coffee per month
-It's like buying Brandon and Sam each a full cup of coffee per month
-I can't even calculate how much coffee this is, and it hurts my head to think about it. Also, I don't know you, but I think I have feelings for you.
If coffee is not in your budget right now (we know that a lot of you are students...), sharing our site with your colleagues is another great (and free) way to support what we do.
We also have products available for purchase. Check out our growing list of cheat sheets or our informal guide to surviving pharmacy school. There's also our manifesto on how to get into a pharmacy residency.
No matter how you decide to support tl;dr pharmacy, it helps to keep us pumping out great content for you. Thanks!
Brandon and Sam
